gods of the seasons
The gods of the seasons are the main pantheon of gods in the world of erenor. They are the eight primordial aspects of the seasons. Formed at the end of the Ether War, the Gods of the Seasons are incredibly old and powerful. While individually not as powerful as Solaris or Lir, they are the most worshiped of the gods and together are a force that none have been able to oppose. While clerics exist for each individual god, all of the gods are equally revered as they bring about the prosperity of the seasons. During his or her season, one of the gods holds the highest sway, with his or her clerics leading communities around the plane in worship. While most of the gods lean towards good or evil, they are as a whole aloof and detached from the world. It takes great amount of effort for them to act outside their seasons and for the most part they rarely bother. During their seasons, however, they are incredibly powerful and can touch the world and it’s people with ease. This is a blessing and a curse for the people of Erenor, for when pleased the gods can be benevolent and when insulted they can be incredibly spiteful.
